Initial Treatment

PROFHILO® BODY intervenes in the physiological process of skin ageing. It has been designed for TISSUE REMODELING and IMPROVEMENT IN SKIN LAXITY.

An initial cycle of TWO TREATMENT SESSIONS WITH A 4 WEEK INTERVAL is recommended, followed as necessary by maintenance treatments.

PROFHILO® BODY bio-remodelling treatment is made up of a hybrid of co-operative, complex hyaluronic acid (HA), and improves the skin through several effects. Once injected, it activates stem cells in the fat layer known as adipocytes to improve fat cell renewal to stimulate collagen and elastin. It also promotes wound healing, and hydrates the skin.

PROFHILO® BODY is purely HA, which is a natural compound already within our skin making it an ideal treatment compared with other collagen stimulators. Due to its large concentration of HA at 32mg per ml it has to be delivered by injection.

PROFHILO® does not elicit a voluminous effect like a filler does, as the structure of the HA is different. Any plumping of the skin after injection is due to hydration. The skin tightening effects may last up to a year however hydration not as long. Therefore the skin’s hydration will need to be maintained with repeated treatments as stated above, and/or combined with another skin booster if desired.
